Apex

Apex is a tactical ecological TTRPG that places the players in the hide-bound boots of Hunters - warriors bound between the survival of humanity and the law of beasts. Nature has won, and the human race has returned to just another competing branch of evolution. In the overgrown climes and cyclopean ruins, Apex Predators carve out their territories, feasting on the weak. The only hope of survival is for Hunters to match their ferocity.

This book contains the laws of the Hunt, the habitats in which the Apex rule absolute, and the blood-bound mutations and heirloom weapons that Hunters wield to take down their prey. This includes:

• Heirloom Weapons, each with their own roster of unique abilities, from the symbiotic Hive Lantern to the indomitable Greatblade.
• 7 Climes, each with their lesser Predators, terrible Apex Predators, and a bevy of environmental challenges from the raw fury of Mother Nature.
• Rules for Succession - the process by which dead Hunters return to life, inheriting the dread traits of their killers, until they too evolve into something more.
• Dedicated advice on creating your own Climes and Hunts, as well as balancing Apex boss fights.
